I was born in 1956 in Humboldt, Saskatchewan ( Canada ). My main occupation is in engineering, as a mechanical & structural designer.

Starting from a very young age, I've been "into" the visual arts. I've worked in watercolor & oil painting, colored pencil, pen & ink, pencil ( charcoal ) sketching, and wood sculpture ( and won many awards ).

In my late teen years / early 20's, I "discovered" photography. Within about 4 years, I had largely abandoned the other mediums, in favor of the much more challenging photography. - I still occassionally like to do sketching, but for about 25 years now, my main artistic outlet has been photography ( in which I've also won many awards ).
